In its continued mission to promote inclusive and equitable education, the Bridgeway Foundation, through its flagship Stay in School Project, has donated mathematical sets and exercise books to Junior High School (JHS) pupils from Form 1 to Form 3 in Goviefe-Todzi, located in the Kpeve District of the Volta Region.
The donation, made on June 10, 2025, was designed to equip students with essential learning tools that enhance study and exam preparation. While the final-year pupils prepare for the upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), the gesture was also extended to Form 1 and 2 students, reinforcing the Foundation’s vision of encouraging long-term academic commitment and reducing dropout rates.
Representatives of the Foundation emphasized the importance of providing equal opportunities to children in rural and underserved communities.
“Every child, regardless of where they live, deserves access to the basic tools that make learning possible. A spokesperson noted that we are bridging that gap through the Stay in School Project and empowering students to remain focused on their education,” a spokesperson noted.
The donation received heartfelt appreciation from teachers, pupils, and community leaders in Goviefe-Todzi. They highlighted the daily struggles many students face in acquiring learning materials and expressed that the support from the Bridgeway Foundation would go a long way toward improving academic outcomes and motivating perseverance in schooling.
This initiative is part of Bridgeway Foundation’s broader mission to promote inclusive education, inspire academic excellence, and foster brighter futures for young learners across Ghana. By reaching rural communities like Goviefe-Todzi, the Foundation continues to fulfill its commitment to ensuring that no child is left behind in the pursuit of education.
