As part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing education and empowering young learners, the Bridgeway Foundation donated mathematical sets to Wilmore Christian Academy pupils in Tema Community 11 in the Tema Metropolis through its flagship Stay in School Project.
The donation, made on June 3, 2025, focused on Class 6 and Form 1 pupils, equipping them with essential academic tools to support their learning journey and strengthen their understanding of mathematics and related subjects.
Mathematical sets are indispensable in geometry, technical drawing, and arithmetic. Recognizing their importance, the Foundation made the provision to ease access for students and to inspire greater interest in mathematics as a foundation for wider academic success.
"The Stay in School Project is designed to remove barriers to learning and ensure that every child has the tools they need to succeed. Our goal is to inspire, equip, and support learners to stay focused on their education,” Mr. Richard Kukubor (executive director) noted during the presentation.
The donation was warmly received by the school community. Staff and students expressed sincere gratitude for the gesture, describing it as timely, practical, and motivational. Teachers further emphasized that access to such vital resources would significantly boost participation and performance in class.
The initiative reflects Bridgeway Foundation’s vision of building a brighter future through education-based interventions. By reaching schools such as Wilmore Christian Academy, the Foundation continues to empower Ghana’s next generation with the tools, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive.
