Ningo, Ghana – In a powerful display of community support, the Bridgeway Foundation, in partnership with Mr. Ismael Smith, launched the “Project: Equipping Kids, Empowering Future” initiative on July 18, 2025. The event, held at The School of Child Lifecare (Scholar) in Ningo, focused on providing essential educational resources to bright students from low-income families.
The project’s mission is to remove financial barriers that prevent children from reaching their full potential. During the event, the foundation distributed school uniforms, shoes, and bags to students who demonstrated strong academic ability but whose families struggled to afford these necessities. This effort is a cornerstone of the Bridgeway Foundation’s commitment to helping young people find their purpose and thrive regardless of their socio-economic background.
The Bridgeway Foundation operates on the principle that empowering children through education is the most effective way to break the cycle of poverty. By providing students with the tools, they need to attend school with confidence, the foundation is not just meeting immediate needs; it's investing in a more empowered and prosperous future for the entire community.
“We cannot do this alone,” a representative for the foundation noted, emphasizing the importance of collaboration. “It takes a community to raise a child, and we are incredibly grateful to Mr. Ismael Smith and all our supporters who continue to walk this journey with us.”
The Bridgeway Foundation is calling on the public to join this vital mission. Your support can help expand the project's reach to more needy children across Ghana. To make a donation, you can send contributions to 0543862936.
