Sunyani, June 2, 2025 in a powerful display of partnership between traditional leadership and charitable support, the Bridgeway Foundation, through its flagship Stay in School Project, has donated essential mathematical sets to benefit Junior High School (JHS) pupils within the Sunyani Traditional Area.

The presentation was made to Omanhene Odeefuo Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II, traditional ruler of the Sunyani area, as part of efforts to ensure Form 3 students are well-prepared for the upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), scheduled to begin on June 11, 2025.

Mathematical sets, a vital resource for subjects such as mathematics and integrated science, can often be a financial burden for families. By channelling the donation through the Omanhene’s leadership, Bridgeway Foundation sought to ensure equitable distribution and to honour the role of traditional authority in championing education within the community.

“Our goal with the Stay in School Project is to ensure that no student is left behind due to the lack of basic academic tools. We are honoured to work with the Omanhene to reach more pupils and encourage their academic journey,”

a Bridgeway Foundation representative shared.

Expressing his gratitude, the Omanhene commended the Foundation for its commitment to the welfare of young learners and pledged that the items would be fairly distributed across the jurisdiction. He further appealed to other individuals, institutions, and organizations to emulate such acts of generosity in support of education.

This initiative marks yet another milestone in the Bridgeway Foundation’s ongoing mission to invest in quality education, uplift communities, and empower the future leaders of Ghana.
